Albany
Albany’s definition of a best friend is a dog – literally. A standout pet stylist at Lucky & Lady, Albany understands dogs and knows how to keep them calm and happy in our Grooming Spa. She and her partner, originally from New York, called Atlanta home in 2014. A student of criminal justice, Albany also enjoys collecting fragrances and nurturing aquarium fish. She’s pictured here with her “sassy” Buddha, a French Bulldog; Kanga, a loving Staffordshire Terrier; and her “giant goofball” Italian Mastiff named Moose. She’s loved dogs since early childhood when she first realized their different personalities, good spirits and their undeniable, unconditional love.
Amanda
A creative soul, Amanda is a groomer, novelist, and Middle Eastern dancer. Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, she has been grooming in the Atlanta area since 2014 and loves spending her days making dogs beautiful and happy. She has a degree in psychology from Georgia Tech and spent a semester training goats at the Atlanta Zoo to do tricks. At home, she has 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a husband. Her goal is to one day be a published author living on an alpaca farm (they need haircuts, too) with a duck pond and horses.

Dani is mom to a “goofy” Shepherd mix named Moose, a ball python named Miso, and a leopard gecko named Cleo.

She’s pet mom to a beautiful terrier mix and has welcomed dogs and cats into her human family over the years. She affectionately refers to herself as “Mommasaurus.”
Lisa
Lisa’s love for pets began as a toddler the very day her dad brought home a Beagle-mix puppy. Lisa spotted the worried pup beneath the sofa and, when it barked, she exclaimed “It works!” Lisa’s adoration of pets brought her to us as a pet enrichment specialist on our Alpha Team. Seen here with Mr. Scooty, a rescued Schnauzer mix, Lisa is also a mom to Butters (Cockapoo), Lola (Shepherd-Hound rescue), and 2 rescued cats named Harry and Mowzie. Lisa is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and enjoyed a career in marketing and branding.

With a passion for making our pets look their very best, Makayla comes to Lucky & Lady as a pet stylist in our professional Grooming Spa. She is particularly interested in the connection between a pet’s outward health and pet nutrition. Born in Indiana, Makayla grew up with many dogs and cats. She now calls Lithonia, Georgia home. She’s a skilled colorist of pet coats and she’s pictured here with a shining example. When she’s not perfecting a groom, Makayla enjoys competitive swimming. She hopes to one day operate her very own pet grooming business.
Marsha
To say Marsha loves being in the company of pets would be an understatement. Marsha has contributed to the wellbeing of pets and animals for more than 34 years. While managing a comprehensive animal care program at Emory University, Marsha also holds multiple roles at Lucky & Lady, where the pets often appear to communicate with her without even a sound. Marsha and her wife have lived in East Atlanta Village for more than twenty years. Marsha is an avid gardener, bird watcher and pet lover. She’s seen here with her 14-year-old Sophie.
Ollie
Ollie grew up with a zoo of pets in their Florida backyard from chickens to cats to a nest full of ducklings(!) Since they settled down in West Atlanta, however, they’ve focused their efforts on enriching the lives of pets in their community through volunteer work at local shelters and through their role as a welcoming concierge at Lucky & Lady. In their spare time, they like exploring the many walking trails in the greater Atlanta area and winding down in the evening with a good book. Ollie is pictured here with their adopted cat, Eva, who makes sure her parent wakes up bright and early every morning for morning cuddles and treats.
Ryan
A former journalist and public relations guy, it took a minute for Ryan to realize his purpose is really pets. As the president of Lucky & Lady, he can be found just about anywhere in the facility, even on the roof making sure our systems are running perfectly. Ryan enjoys time with pets most, which makes sense after nearly four years of research to create our ultimate pet experience. The longtime Grant Park resident is seen here on adoption day for Bichon siblings Duke and Daisy, who joined Samson, the peki-shihtzu-poo (yeah, look that up somewhere, LOL).
Ryan
So, the Ryan’s here come in pairs. This Ryan is the vice president of Lucky & Lady and partner to the other Ryan. Seen here with their third dog, Samson, Ryan is most commonly behind the scenes, helping to ensure our operation is running smoothly. Originally from Southern California, Ryan works as a marketing executive representing farmers. His joy comes in snuggling with all of the family’s dogs and telling stories about his childhood pets – cats, a dog, a salamander, a hamster and fish.
Shenise
Ensuring every pet has the best, safest visit with us at Lucky & Lady is all in a day’s work for Shenise. As a pet enrichment specialist, Shenise helps to facilitate our Enhanced Day Care program with periods of group play, rest and lots of one-on-one affection. Originally from New Orleans, Shenise now calls Villa Rica, Georgia home. She’s a biology student at the University of West Georgia. She is passionate about studying and loves being in the company of friends. Shenise is mom to a short-haired American cat and and a Chiweenie Dog.

She’s always had a love for dogs, having grown up with four pups.
Will (with Claire)
It’s all smiles for Will, a pet enrichment specialist who adores dogs and continually works to better understand them and earn their absolute trust. “It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.” So, it’s no surprise Will hopes to one day create his own pet boarding and day care experience. When he’s not slowing down the “zoomies” and giving confidence to shy or timid dogs at Lucky & Lady, Will enjoys hiking, the outdoors, music, and he’s a huge UGA football fan. He grew up helping to raise Gracie and Josie, both Golden Retriever dogs. And while he’s now pet parent to pup Kirby, he’d like you to see him with his fiancé, Claire.
