About the position
We have terrific and adorably cute stories to tell everyday, yet we have little time or resources to make it happen. The Social Media Coordinator, a newly created position at Lucky & Lady®, is responsible for developing engaging social media content to share our story, cultivate new followers and leads, and generate deeper engagement. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing a social media marketing strategy across multiple social media properties. The successful candidate must understand and be able to use content management systems. Imagery and/or video footage will likely come from others on our team and remote work is possible for this position. Ideally, this position will only require an hour or two each day and this position is best suited for a creative person seeking additional income, likely a student. In time and when traffic and engagement increase, hours and work are expected to increase.
The incumbent must demonstrate previous success in truly growing social media audiences through interaction, advanced content and/or campaigns. Lucky & Lady® provides care to pets of celebrities and public officials and the incumbent will be required to understand and honor certain and special privacy and disclosure agreements.
Required qualifications
- Must regard safety and security as the absolute highest priority
- A portfolio or examples demonstrating your work results
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Hootsuite, Tweetdeck or a similar CMS
- Experience in graphic design and a current subscription to Photoshop
- Previous customer service experience
